Welligent Announces Matt Chamberlain as New Chief Operating Officer

Welligent announced the on-boarding of a new Chief Operating Officer, Matt Chamberlain, on Monday. Mr. Chamberlain has 15 years of experience in health care IT and brings to Welligent an extensive background in Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions architecture, sales, and software engineering. Prior to joining Welligent, Matt served as a senior associate with Open Minds, where he performed consulting work for EHR vendors, health care providers, and managed care organizations.

Andy McCraw and Charles Sutelan, co-owners of Welligent, decided to expand the executive leadership team in response to significant revenue growth and product development over the last two years. Welligent expanded its product line with the release of three mobile applications, a patient portal, and a front desk check-in kiosk. Several new applications and software modules are in development with expected release dates in 2018. Welligent will look to Mr. Chamberlain to help elevate the company’s market position and support the continued growth and product development expected in the years ahead. Mr. Chamberlain will aim to maximize productivity and revenue by developing plans for better resource allocation, implement appropriate training practices and rewards to better align staff with company goals, and drive a strategic analytical approach to measuring performance across departments.

"Welligent has demonstrated that its entire team is committed to being the best EHR software and services provider in our market. Welligent's commitment to its customers and needs of provider organizations across the full spectrum of healthcare services is unparalleled. I'm very excited about the opportunities ahead for Welligent. I look forward to joining Andy, Charles, and the rest of the Welligent team in their mission to further establish Welligent as the market leader in our industry."
